![]() ![]() It sucks feeling like your cards are gone forever when you use them, but elixir lets you say "it isn't forever, I could see them again!". I feel like this card, and cards like it, often serve as a "security blanket" to newer players. Other cards that do the same thing exile themselves, or at least, don't shuffle back in too. But they are quite expensive and may require additional setup that would make the elixir preferable. The original Eldrazi Titans like ] sort of do if you only want the GY shuffle part, you just need a way to discard them.
